Today, Friday, the North Sinai Endowments Directorate launched a major advocacy convoy of female preachers targeting major mosques in all governorate centers, under the title of the role of the family in confronting fanaticism and extremism, as part of the Correct Your Concepts initiative launched by the Ministry of Endowments.

For his part, Sheikh Mahmoud Marzouk, Director of the North Sinai Endowments Directorate, confirmed that launching these convoys to the mosques of North Sinai comes within the framework of the Ministry of Endowments’ ongoing advocacy, scientific and educational efforts, and within its action plan aimed at confronting terrorism and extremism and combating all forms of intellectual extremism.
He added that the convoy also aims to confront non-religious extremism represented by the decline of values and morals, and to work to restore and build the Egyptian national character on solid religious foundations that contribute to the renaissance of society and the creation of civilization.
Marzouk explained that the convoy seeks to activate the vital role of the family in fortifying children and society against destructive and extremist ideas, and to promote the values of moderation, moderation, and tolerance among members of Sinai society.
