The WhatsApp application is currently developing a new feature that may allow all users to schedule and send messages automatically within chats, whether individual or group, as part of a move aimed at expanding the tools for controlling conversations.

This feature was revealed by the WABetaInfo team, which spotted it within the beta version 26.7.10.72 of WhatsApp on iOS. Information indicates that the feature may be called Scheduled Messages.

This feature will allow the user to write the message first, then set the appropriate date and time to send it automatically later, without having to return to the application at the scheduled time. This way, the user will be able to organize their messages in advance more easily.

Furthermore, scheduled messages will appear in a dedicated section called Scheduled Messages within the chat information page, where they can be deleted or edited before they are due to be sent.

Although the leaked snapshot showed the feature within a group chat, there are no indications that it is prohibited from being used in individual chats, which suggests that it supports both types.

On the other hand, the feature is still under development, and has not even been released to beta users yet. Therefore, there is no official confirmation regarding its launch date, and the possibility of plans changing at any time remains.
