Today’s dollar price in Egypt
Exchange market indicators showed that the price of the dollar remained around the same levels recorded during the previous working sessions, with the average trading price reaching about 47.23 pounds for buying and 47.33 pounds for selling, without recording sudden movements or sharp fluctuations, in a scene that reflects a relative balance between supply and demand.

This stability comes in light of the cessation of direct transactions within bank branches due to the weekend, with the continued monitoring of announced prices through the official websites of banks and approved trading screens.
The price of the dollar in the Central Bank of Egypt
At the Central Bank of Egypt, which is the main reference for official pricing, the dollar stabilized at 47.23 pounds for purchase and 47.33 pounds for sale.
The price of the dollar in the National Bank
Within the two largest government banks in Egypt, the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the price of the dollar was almost identical to the market average, recording 47.24 pounds for purchase and 47.34 pounds for sale in both banks.
Banque du Caire also recorded exactly the same levels, at 47.24 pounds to buy and 47.34 pounds to sell.

Dollar rates in private banks
In the Housing and Development Bank, the price rose relatively compared to some other banks, reaching 47.43 pounds for purchase and 47.53 pounds for sale, making it among the highest rates announced during today’s transactions.
As for Al Baraka Islamic Bank, it recorded a price slightly lower than the average, at 47.22 pounds to buy and 47.32 pounds to sell, while the price of the dollar at Credit Agricole Bank came at 47.21 pounds to buy and 47.31 pounds to sell.
At Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, the highest announced price among banks appeared during Friday transactions, reaching 47.52 pounds for purchase and 47.62 pounds for sale, which reflects slight differences in pricing policies between private banks.
Dollar rates in other banks
The Arab International Bank recorded a price of 47.24 pounds for purchase and 47.34 pounds for sale, which is the same price announced at the Suez Canal Bank.
As for the Bank of Alexandria, it was among the lowest prices for the dollar today, as it reached 47.19 pounds to buy and 47.29 pounds to sell.
At the National Bank of Kuwait, the price stabilized at 47.21 pounds for purchase and 47.31 pounds for sale, remaining close to the official market average.

A new jump in net foreign reserves
The Central Bank of Egypt announced that net foreign reserves rose to $50.216 billion at the end of November 2025, compared to about $50.071 billion at the end of October of the same year, an increase of $145 million in just one month.
Remittances from Egyptians abroad reach a historic record
In parallel, the Central Bank revealed an unprecedented surge in remittances from Egyptians working abroad, as they rose during the period from January to November 2025 by 42.5%, reaching about $37.5 billion, compared to $26.3 billion during the same period in 2024, recording the highest historical value ever.
Significant monthly jump in November
On a monthly level, remittances from Egyptians abroad in November 2025 recorded an increase of 39.9% to reach about $3.6 billion, compared to $2.6 billion in November 2024, which reflects an increasing momentum in foreign exchange flows as the end of the year approaches.
