The match will be held in the Cairo International Stadium hall, starting at exactly six in the evening, in a match during which Zamalek seeks to continue competing for the advanced positions in the ranking table, while Petrojet hopes to achieve a positive result against one of the most prominent teams in the tournament.
The sixth round competitions began yesterday evening, Monday, with three strong matches, which resulted in Al Jazira’s victory over Telecom Egypt with a score of 67-65, while Al-Ittihad of Alexandria won the Alexandria derby against Smouha with a score of 95-64, while Al-Ahly beat Sporting with a score of 77-65.
The Allianz League ranking round competitions are held in a home-and-away system between the eight participating teams, where the winning team gets two points, while the losing team gets one point, in order to rank the teams from first to eighth place and determine the quarter-final matches.
Participating in the ranking round are: Al-Ahly, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, Zamalek, Sporting, Al-Jazira, Telecom Egypt, Petrojet, and Smouha.
The Allianz Basketball Premier League is one of the most important local tournaments, as its champion qualifies for the African Basketball League, which represents the gateway to the Club World Cup.
