The Moroccan team, Wydad Casablanca, ended the idea of the possibility of borrowing Slovenian Genek Gardishar, player of the first football team of Al-Ahly.
Wydad Casablanca inquired about Al-Ahly’s position on the possibility of loaning Gardishar for the end of the season, but they backed down after press reports revealed that they had signed Wissam Bader, who plays for Sakarispor, which competes in the Turkish second division.
L’Equipe newspaper said that Wydad had actually signed a contract with the player, who had previously played in the French, Spanish and Turkish leagues.
She added that the French striker signed a six-month contract with Wydad. This information has not been confirmed by either party.
The former Monaco star is expected to play alongside Hakim Ziyech.
According to reports, his contract includes the option to extend for an additional year, and he agreed with his club to make a financial concession in order to join the current league leader, and the African Champions League champion in 2022.
