The tourism sector in the Red Sea cities witnessed remarkable activity during the past two days, after Hurghada Airport received nearly 23,000 tourists via 228 flights coming from various European airports, according to operating schedules. Approved.
This increasing number reflects the state of tourism recovery, with occupancy rates in hotels and resorts rising significantly.
For his part, Issam Ali, a tourism expert, said that the German, Russian, Italian, Polish and Czech markets recorded the largest percentage of arrivals to the tourist city during recent days, as Europeans search for warm destinations to escape the cold weather in their country.
The tourism expert added, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that Hurghada has recently become the most attractive destination within Egypt, superior to many competing coastal cities.
