The Ministry’s security services managed to… Interior From the arrest of criminal hotspots of narcotic drug dealers and unlicensed firearms dealers, information and investigations from the public security sectors – combating drugs and unlicensed weapons and ammunition, in coordination with the relevant ministry agencies, confirmed that criminal hotspots within a number of governorates – including highly dangerous criminal elements – brought quantities of narcotic drugs and unlicensed firearms in preparation for trafficking in them.

Following the legalization of the procedures, they were targeted with the participation of the Central Security Sector, and the interaction resulted in the death of 4 highly dangerous criminal members who had previously been sentenced to imprisonment and life imprisonment for the felonies of “drug trafficking, forcible theft, kidnapping, and use of cruelty within the scope of Dakahlia Governorate.”

The rest of the members of those hotspots were also seized, and they were in possession of approximately 767 kilograms of various narcotic substances (hashish, hydro, shabu, heroin, opium, banjo, and cocaine) – 4,000 narcotic and stimulant tablets – 72 firearms (18 automatic rifles, 10 shotguns, 43 cartridges, and drums). The financial value of the seized narcotic substances is estimated at more than 69 million pounds. Legal measures were taken.

This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior continuing to direct pre-emptive strikes against criminal hotspots and traffickers of narcotic drugs and unlicensed firearms.
