US President Donald Trump renewed the United States’ control over the island of Greenland, stressing that Denmark is unable to protect it and that NATO has warned it of the Russian threat for twenty years.

Trump added, in his statements before his travel to attend the Davos Forum in Switzerland, that he will talk about Greenland during the forum, stressing that what will happen there will be worthy of attention, saying: European leaders will not greatly oppose his attempt to buy Greenland.
Trump revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin had been invited to join the Peace Council in the Gaza Strip, commenting at the same time on reports that said that Paris did not intend to join, saying: No one cares about Macron’s refusal to join the Peace Council if he decides to do so, and he will be out of the presidential office soon.
Regarding his not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, Trump commented: I do not care about the Nobel Peace Prize or what Norway says about its lack of control over the Nobel Committee.

Trump continued: I agreed to hold a meeting of the various concerned parties in Davos, Switzerland. As I made clear to everyone frankly, Greenland is crucial to national and global security. There is no room for retreat from that, and everyone agrees on this.
He added: The United States of America is, by a large margin, the most powerful country on the face of the Earth. A large part of this is due to rebuilding our military forces during my first term, a process that is now continuing at a faster pace than ever before. We are the only force capable of ensuring peace around the world, and this is done simply through force.
