Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, thanked President Sisi for his efforts to achieve peace in… Gaza.
In his speech before the Peace Council, Witkoff said: “If it were not for Trump, we would not have been able to return the detainees from the Gaza Strip.”
Earlier, Trump said: “We worked to achieve peace in the Middle East.”
Trump added: “The Peace Council is of great importance and nothing can compare to it, and I thank the leaders and members of the Peace Council for participating in the Council meeting.”
Trump continued: “We must work more seriously within the framework of the Peace Council.”
