Today, Sunday, the Cairo Criminal Court is hearing the first session of the trial of an unemployed man on charges of impersonating a police officer, defrauding citizens, and seizing their money by impersonating his identity and forging official documents in the Rod al-Farag Police Department.

Information and investigations by the security services at the Cairo Security Directorate confirmed that an unemployed resident of the Rawd al-Farag Police Department in Cairo committed fraud and defrauded citizens and seized their money by impersonating a fake police officer.
After codifying the procedures, the accused was found in possession of (a white weapon, a penknife, an iron handcuff, and two forged birth certificates).

When confronted, he admitted that he had defrauded citizens by impersonating his identity, and that he had forged certificates and official documents through an application.

He admitted to committing three incidents of fraud in the same manner, and a report was drawn up regarding the incident and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
