The Beni Suef Water and Sanitation Company announced the weak water supply to the villages of Barawa and Mansheyet Al-Hajj, affiliated with the Ahnasia Center, today, Monday, from ten in the morning until six in the evening, for a period of 8 continuous hours.

This comes within the framework of periodic maintenance work carried out by the company to maintain the efficient operation of water stations and improve the level of service provided to citizens.

The company explained, in an official statement, that the weakness of the water comes as a result of carrying out tank disinfection work at the Barawa Water Station, which requires stopping the station temporarily until the disinfection work is completed and ensuring that the station is ready to operate at its full operational capacity, ensuring the preservation of the quality and safety of the water provided to citizens in accordance with applicable health and technical standards.

The company confirmed that the maintenance and emergency teams are working according to a specific time plan to complete the work as quickly as possible, with a commitment to taking the necessary technical measures to ensure the gradual re-pumping of water immediately after the completion of the disinfection work and trial operation of the station.

The Water and Sanitation Company calls on citizens, especially the owners of bakeries, hospitals, health units and service facilities, to manage their water needs during the period of work implementation, in order to avoid affecting the services provided to citizens during the period of weak supplies.

The company also confirmed that it has prepared pure drinking water trucks suitable for human use, to provide them in the affected areas in the event of a need for them, noting the possibility of requesting water trucks or submitting complaints and inquiries by calling the hotline 125 from any landline or mobile phone around the clock, or via the WhatsApp number 01211175827, where reports are dealt with immediately and worked to respond to them as quickly as possible.

The company indicated that these works come within its periodic plan to maintain the efficiency of the drinking water system, raise the level of services provided to citizens, and ensure the access of clean and safe water to all areas served.
