The First Terrorism Circuit, held in the Badr Courts Complex, headed by Counselor Mohamed Al-Saeed El-Sherbiny, is examining the trial of 9 defendants in the case known as ISIS, Ain Shams, registered under No. 9687 of 2025, Ain Shams felonies.

The referral order stated that, during the period from 2017, until July 27, 2023, the first accused assumed leadership of a terrorist group for the purpose of calling for disruption of public order and endangering the safety and security of society, disrupting the provisions of the Constitution and the law, and of state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, attacking the personal freedoms of citizens, and harming national unity and social peace.

The referral order revealed that the second through eighth defendants joined the group that is the subject of the accusation while knowing its purposes, and the ninth defendant was charged with participating in a terrorist group while knowing its purposes.
