The General Authority of Meteorology revealed the condition the weather Today, Sunday, February 15, 2026, explaining the details of the weather during the coming hours, and the temperatures and the extent of their rise during the coming periods in most parts of the Republic.

According to what was published in an official statement, meteorology indicated that the weather condition today, Sunday, February 15, 2026, is witnessing a noticeable rise in temperatures over most parts of the Republic, with cold weather prevailing in the early morning, turning to hot during the day in most areas, while the weather returns to moderate and cool at night.
Today’s weather in Cairo
The authority explained that the maximum temperature expected today in Greater Cairo will be 29 degrees Celsius, with warm weather continuing in the Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt regions, while the temperature will rise more in southern Upper Egypt.
Regarding weather phenomena, the winds are sometimes active in areas of the Red Sea Governorate, stirring up sand and dust on parts of the northwestern coasts and the Matrouh Desert, which may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility on some roads, especially in the open areas from Greater Cairo and the north of the country to northern Upper Egypt and central Sinai.
Expectations also indicate that low clouds will form in areas from the north of the country up to Greater Cairo and the canal cities, and may be accompanied by light drizzle that will not affect some areas. The western Mediterranean is witnessing turmoil in maritime navigation, especially on the coasts of Salloum, Matrouh, and El Alamein, where wind speeds range between 40 and 60 km/h, and wave heights range from 2 to 3 metres.
The Authority confirmed that these forecasts were issued by the General Administration of Forecasts and Early Warning based on the latest weather maps, with continuous follow-up to make any updates if changes occur.
It also called on citizens to make the necessary preparations; To reduce the effects resulting from expected weather phenomena.
