The referral order said that, during the period from 2021, until November 26, 2021, the first and second defendants assumed leadership of a terrorist group in the specific committees in the governorates, for the purpose of calling for disruption of public order and endangering the safety and security of society, disrupting the provisions of the Constitution and the law, and of state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, and attacking the personal freedoms of citizens and harming national unity and social peace.
The referral order added: The third to the last defendants joined the group that is the subject of the accusation while knowing its purposes, and all of the defendants were charged with financing terrorism.
