The events of the case, registered as No. 10703 of 2025, felonies at the Karmouz Police Department, began when the security services of the Alexandria Security Directorate received a notification from the warden of the Karmouz Police Department stating that a family report had been received that a person had fired gunshots at the last person killed in the department’s precinct.
The court postponed the second session due to the inability of the accused to attend and the psychiatric report was received after the accused was placed in Abbasiya Hospital.
Cairo 24 obtained the text of the defendant’s confessions before the investigating authorities, in which he confirmed his full awareness of all his steps and movements before carrying out the crime, saying: I am a good man with an engineering graduate, and I worked in large companies, and I trade in gold and earn a lot, but my psychological hours are exhausted because people ostracize me because of someone like Abdullah Al-Homsani, who was very good at getting people around him.
The accused added in his confessions: I was a genius in my class, aware of everything around me, and understood where I was and why he was interrogating me, and I had no regrets because Abdullah Al-Homsani deserved to be killed.
The competent investigation authorities in Alexandria conducted a photographic inspection of the crime scene, under tight security, at the Karmouz Police Department, near the new parking lot, as part of the procedures for completing investigations into the case.
