The incident began when the Chief of Investigations at the Al Salam Police Department received information indicating that an unemployed person was trafficking in narcotic drugs and had taken the department’s office as a headquarters for practicing his criminal activity. A research and investigation team was formed that confirmed the information.

By codifying the procedures, the accused was arrested, and upon searching him, he was found in possession of a quantity of powder drugs, a single cartridge, and a bullet. When confronted, he admitted to possessing the seized items for the purpose of trafficking and making illegal gains, and using a firearm to defend his illegal activity. A report was drawn up on the incident, and the Public Prosecution took all necessary legal measures and took over the investigations.

On the other hand, the Cairo Economic Court decided to postpone the trial of the October car restor named Ahmed.
