Qena Governorate announced that the Social Solidarity Directorate organized a free medical convoy, today, Thursday, at Diwan Al-Batiti in the village of Karam Amran, affiliated with the Abnoud Center, as part of the governorate’s keenness to enhance health support for the most needy groups.

The governorate explained, in a media statement, that the convoy provides free examination and treatment services to citizens, noting that it includes a number of important medical specialties, including internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, and measuring blood pressure and sugar, in addition to dispensing medications for free.
The governorate confirmed that organizing the convoy comes within the plan of the Social Solidarity Directorate, in cooperation with the relevant health authorities, to provide medical care, reduce health problems in the villages, and facilitate citizens’ access to treatment services without financial burdens.
The governorate also stressed the continued implementation of medical convoys in the villages most in need, in support of the state’s efforts to provide comprehensive care and achieve health equity among citizens.
