The Endowments Directorate announced AssiutThe Ministry of Endowments is keen to spread religious and intellectual awareness, correct misconceptions, and build a conscious and enlightened student personality.
Holding seminars in schools
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Assiut said that at the Commercial Secondary School in Manfalut, a religious symposium was held entitled “Helping the Needy,” in which His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Aziz Abdul Azim Muhammad Farraj lectured, where he discussed the importance of social solidarity, the virtue of meeting people’s needs, and the role of these values in enhancing the spirit of compassion and community cohesion.
A religious symposium was also held at Beni Shuqair School, delivered by Sheikh Omar Mustafa Hamed Mustafa, Imam of Al-Kharashi Mosque, stressing the necessity of adhering to Islamic morals, correcting wrong behaviors, and the impact of this on building a good human being.
At the Commercial Technical Secondary School in Badari, a lecture was organized entitled “The Danger of Cursing Religion,” delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Taha Abdel Hamid Amer Ali, Imam of Al-Fashakhara Mosque, explaining the danger of this phenomenon to belief and behavior, and the necessity of confronting it with awareness and sound education.
The Badari General Secondary School – North Badari Administration also witnessed a lecture entitled “The Danger of Fireworks,” delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Hassan Sayed Ahmed Abdel-Al, warning of their grave risks to lives and property, and calling on students to maintain their safety and stay away from dangerous practices.
At the Martyr Abdul Basset Ali Ahmed School in Al-Aqal Al-Qibli, a lecture was held entitled “Love of Parents,” delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Ibrahim Muhammad Ibrahim Ali Hadiya, in which Azim explained the status of honoring parents in Islam, and its impact on the well-being of the individual and the stability of the family and society.
The Sahel Salim Endowments Department also organized a religious symposium at the Joint Preparatory School in Shamiya entitled “The Danger of Using Social Media,” delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Shabib Obaid Sayed Shabib, during which he discussed the controls for the correct use of social media, and alerted to its negative effects on values and behaviors.
He pointed out that these blessed activities were carried out under the guidance of Professor Dr. Osama Al-Sayed Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, under the supervision of Sheikh Muhammad Abdel Latif, Director General of Da’wah and Dean of the Islamic Cultural Center, and the follow-up of Sheikh Ahmed Kamal Ali. Head of the Department of Religious Guidance and Dawah Dissemination in the Directorate, within the framework of the Ministry’s plan for an active presence within educational institutions and building a conscious generation that adheres to its religious and national values.
