The Directorate of Health Affairs in Qalyubia Governorate is organizing a comprehensive free medical convoy, to celebrate the occasion of Sham El-Nessim and the spring holidays, under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and Dr. Hossam El-Din Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia.
A free medical convoy in Afla Park in Al-Qanater Al-Khairiya
The convoy comes in implementation of the instructions of Dr. Osama Al-Shalaqani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia, and under the supervision of Dr. Mufida Raja, Director of the Chest Diseases Department and Coordinator of Treatment Convoys, as part of the Directorate’s plan to intensify medical convoys and provide distinguished health services to citizens.
The convoy activities are scheduled to be held today, Tuesday, in Afla Park in the city of Qanater Al-Khairiya, where citizens will be received and medical services will be provided free of charge throughout the days of the convoy.
The convoy includes various medical specialties, including internal medicine, children, women, orthopedics, eyes, and thoracic medicine, in addition to conducting medical examinations and dispensing the necessary medications without charge.
The convoy aims to reduce the burden on citizens, especially in densely populated areas, by providing integrated health care near their place of residence, as part of the state’s keenness to improve the quality of healthy life for citizens.
The Qalyubia Health Directorate confirmed that this convoy comes within a series of treatment convoys that are carried out periodically, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to pay attention to citizen health and support free health initiatives, calling on citizens to go to the convoy headquarters and benefit from the services provided.
