The security services in Suez Governorate were able to arrest an unemployed man on charges of injuring two brothers with separate stab wounds, and assaulting their mother by slapping, against the backdrop of disputes that broke out between the children.

The security services in Suez Governorate had received a report from the Suez Medical Complex stating the arrival of a young man with a stab wound, then the arrival of his brother with separate stab wounds, where he was placed in intensive care due to the seriousness of his condition.

Immediately, Major General Hossam El-Din Ahmed Al-Dah directed the Director of Suez Security to form a team from the Criminal Investigation Department. Investigations revealed that behind the incident was an unemployed man residing in the same area, and he was arrested in preparation for referring him to the competent investigation authorities.

Eyewitnesses said in statements to “Cairo 24” that the victims and the accused reside on Al-Ghouri Street, Kafr Al-Arab district, in the Arbaeen neighbourhood, noting that the dispute began over children’s play, where the accused assaulted a child, and when his mother scolded him, the matter developed into an argument, before the accused assaulted the two brothers using a white weapon, resulting in them sustaining stab wounds in various areas.

The witnesses added that the accused was in possession of a white weapon that he used in the assault. It was seized, a report was drawn up about the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified to initiate investigations.
