Signed today by Engineer Mona Rizk, Chairman of the Board of Directors Egyptian company For electricity transmission, a new contract was signed with XD Agemak Company, and the company was represented at the signing by engineer Li JianFei, the company’s general manager.

The contract includes the supply and supervision of the installation and tests of 8 transformers with a capacity of 175 MVA, with voltages of 22/66/220 – 11 kV, for the benefit of the economic transformer stations 100 – South Hurghada – Karmouz – Silwa.

This came within the framework of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy’s plan to enhance the efficiency and stability of the unified national grid, and based on the directives and continuous follow-up of Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy.

He attended the signing ceremony; Engineer Osama Abdullah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of XD Egymak Company, Engineer Ahmed Fathi, Head of the Central Projects Sectors, and Engineer Zainab Qamar, Head of the Central High Voltage Projects Sector.

The project aims to secure the summer 2026 plan, and ensure the continuity and stability of the electrical supply, especially during times of peak loads, in order to support the network affiliated with the Alexandria, West Delta, Upper Egypt, and Middle Egypt electricity regions.

The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company affirms its full commitment to implementing the directives of the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and continuing its efforts to develop the national grid and raise its efficiency in a way that meets development needs and achieves energy security and sustainability.
