Eyewitnesses revealed poignant and shocking details about the last moments of the Fran killing incident in the city of Tala in Menoufia Governorate, stressing that the atmosphere before the incident was completely calm, as a number of people on both sides of the incident met inside one of the places to hold a reconciliation session between the two parties over a work dispute, without any indications warning of developments.
Witnesses explained that the attendees brought a Qur’an and took an oath on it, and recited Al-Fatihah signaling the end of the conflict, in a scene characterized by complete calm, before one of the attendees went after the session ended to pay the bill and return the Qur’an, without any arguments or loud noises occurring that would attract attention.
Eyewitnesses added that the surprise was when the victim fell to the ground injured, without anyone noticing that a clear clash had taken place, pointing out that the accused remained in his place, while some of those present rushed to take the young man to the hospital in an attempt to save him, amid the belief that the incident was just a minor injury, and the victim later breathed his last due to his injury.
In a related context, the body was presented to forensic medicine to accurately determine the causes of death, before his body was buried after the sunset prayer in a solemn funeral amidst a state of sadness that fell upon the people, while the investigation authorities continued to complete their procedures, interrogating the accused and hearing witness statements, in addition to downloading surveillance cameras surrounding the incident, to fully uncover the circumstances of the accident and take the necessary legal measures.
