Sources revealed the details of the accusation of a foreign girl of Egyptian origin to the artist Mahmoud Hegazy By sexually assaulting her inside a famous hotel, in an official report she wrote about the incident.
The sources said that the girl claimed in her report that she met the artist Mahmoud Hegazy through the Tik Tok application, and the relationship between them developed until they met inside a famous hotel in Cairo, and he went up to her room to have tea with her and asked her to see the Nile River from the balcony of her room – according to her allegations – and he sat with her in the room for more than an hour before he sexually assaulted her and beat her violently – according to what she told the police in her report that she submitted last night.

The author of the report stated that the incident of the assault – as she claimed – dates back to the beginning of last January, noting that she did not file a report at the time because she was exposed to direct threats from the artist, and he threatened her with harm and death, which prompted her to remain silent for a period before she decided to come from abroad, resort to the security authorities, and write an official report.
The girl added in her statements that she felt fear and extreme psychological pressure, which prevented her from reporting the incident immediately after it happened.
Following the report, the police took the artist Mahmoud Hegazy into custody, and he was referred to the Public Prosecution, which began extensive investigations into the incident, where the statements of both parties are being heard, the investigations are examined, and the surveillance cameras are reviewed, in preparation for taking the appropriate legal decision according to the results of the investigations.
Artistically, Mahmoud Hegazy is considered one of the young faces that has emerged over the past years. He participated in a number of dramatic and cinematic works, where he played various roles between the tragic and the social, and attracted attention with his performance in supporting roles that later turned into more present roles.
