The Russian Embassy in Washington revealed that Ukrainian conflict It is approaching its end, pointing to the current US administration’s support for settlement negotiations.
On his part; “The conflict resulting from the spread of neo-Nazi ideology in Ukraine is coming to an end,” Russian diplomat Andrei Ledenev said during an event at the embassy.
He stressed that the current US administration actively supports settlement negotiations, unlike its predecessor, which sought to defeat Russia strategically.
This came after the Geneva negotiations on February 17 and 18 between the delegations of Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, after which the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, announced an agreement on a new round of negotiations soon.
The Kremlin pointed to Washington’s emphasis that the resolution of the territorial issue (as agreed upon at the Alaska summit) and the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donbass are basic conditions for a permanent settlement.
