The UAE national team player almost scored the lead goal in the 32nd minute after he was alone with Mohamed Bassam, the Egyptian national team goalkeeper, but the latter shone and saved the Pharaohs’ goal.
In the last minutes of the first half, the UAE national team reached the Egyptian national team’s goal on more than one occasion, but success eluded them.
