The Arab Contractors Club’s first football team won the exciting match against Al-Ahly with three goals to no return, reviving its hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Egyptian Capital Cup.
The Al-Ahly and Arab Contractors match began in a balanced manner on both sides, before the Mountain Wolves began to control the course of events, until they were able to score the first goal in the 20th minute through their player Mustafa Gamal through a successful penalty kick.
As the first half approached, specifically in the 41st minute, Joaquim Ojera was able to double the score for the visitors with the second goal, ending the first half with the Mountain Wolves leading by two unanswered goals.
The Al-Ahly youth players entered the second half of the match, hoping to reduce the score, but things did not go optimally, so the Arab Contractors team was able to score the third goal in the 65th minute through Onyimaichi after Mustafa Gamal’s pass, so the team maintained the score and the match ended with an important victory for the Mountain Wolves, reviving its hopes of qualifying from the group.
With this result, the Arab Contractors Club raised its score of points to 4 points, occupying fourth place in the group, while Al-Ahly’s score stopped at 3 points, occupying sixth place.
