In its session held in the city of Tur Sinai, the South Sinai Criminal Court ruled the imprisonment of the owner of a clothing store in Tur Sinai, named Jamal M.A.M. A., 36 years old, one year and a fine of 10,000 pounds, and referring the civil lawsuit to the competent court, for driving a car under the influence of the drug Tramadol, and negligently causing the death of a security personnel at the Fayrouz Medical Complex named Youssef Ramadan Mustafa, and destroying the car owned by the victim, Hanan M.M.A.

The ruling was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Ihab Muhammad Esmat and the membership of Counselors Muhammad Ali Abdel Majeed, Hamed Ibrahim Abdel Qader, Ahmed Mukhtar Abu Ismail, Muhammad Ezzat, the Attorney General, and the secretariat of Muhammad Abdel Sattar, Secretary of the Investigation, and Ahmed Abdel Basit.

The events of the incident go back to the fact that on November 13, 2025 in the Tur Sinai district, a signal was received at the point of the Fayrouz Medical Complex Hospital stating that a person had crashed into one of the gates of the Fayrouz Medical Complex by entering with his car, number T.G.F. 6791, and the security personnel at the gate were injured. Upon investigation of the matter, it was found that the accused collided with the gate, because the security personnel refused to let a car out of that gate, and asked him to exit the designated gate. However, this aroused his anger, so he threatened the victim and left angrily. He returned again to the gate where the victim was present and collided with it, which led to the security personnel being seriously injured and he was transferred to Sharm El-Sheikh Hospital, but he died inside the hospital as a result of his injury.

The security forces in Tur Sinai were able to arrest the accused, and by questioning the victim before his death, he confirmed that he prevented the accused from leaving the gate he was at, but he left through the other gate, and while he was behind the gate, the accused entered the gate with his car, which led to him sustaining many injuries, and a number of witnesses testified to the details of the incident.

Investigations confirmed that the accused drove the car while under the influence of the drug Tramadol, and by his mistake caused the death of the victim, Youssef Ramadan Mustafa, and this was the result of his negligence, recklessness, lack of caution, and lack of consideration for traffic rules and regulations, by driving a car while he was taking the substance of the drug Tramadol in a state that resulted in danger, and did not take care of its path and hit the iron door of the Fayrouz Medical Complex, and due to the severity of the impact, the victim suffered serious injuries that resulted in With his life.

A report was drawn up regarding the incident, No. 3271, Sinai felonies for the year 2025, and when the accused was presented for investigation, the Deputy Public Prosecutor decided to detain him for 4 days pending investigation, then he was released pending the case.

The case papers were referred to the South Sinai Criminal Court and were registered as No. 1512 of the District of South Sinai for the year 2025. In today’s session, the South Sinai Criminal Court ruled, in its previous ruling, imprisoning the accused for one year and a fine of 10,000 pounds, and referring the civil case to the competent court.
