The security services of the Qena Security Directorate arrested a father on charges of cutting his daughter’s hair and handcuffing her due to family disputes, in one of the villages affiliated with the Qena Center District.
The beginning was when the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the Qena Police Station, stating that a report had been received from a woman accusing her ex-husband of cutting their daughter’s hair and tying her up in one of the villages affiliated with the center’s district.

After the examination, it was found that the father cut the hair of his 17-year-old daughter, handcuffed her, and locked her in the house, due to family disputes. She was able to escape to her mother, who filed a report, and the accused father was arrested.
The accused was presented to the investigating authorities, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the competent authorities were notified to initiate investigations, which assigned the Investigation Unit to investigate the incident and uncover its circumstances.
