Today, Tuesday, the first qualifying round matches for the group stage of the 2025 Arab Cup will be held, which begins in Qatar at the beginning of next month with the participation of 16 teams.
Dates of today’s matches in the Arab Cup qualifiers
It is expected that 3 matches will be held today, Tuesday, within the preliminary qualifying round for the Arab Cup, which are as follows: –
The Kuwait vs. Mauritania match, which will be held at three o’clock in the afternoon, Cairo time, on the floor of Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The Palestine vs. Libya match, which will be held at six o’clock in the evening, Cairo time, on the floor of Thani Bin Jassim Stadium.
The Syria vs. South Sudan match, which will be held at six o’clock in the evening, Cairo time, on the grounds of the Grand Hamad Stadium.
It is worth noting that the winner of the Kuwait vs. Cameroon match will be in the third group next to the second Egyptian team, the first UAE team, and the first Jordanian team.
The tournament system stipulates that the nine highest-ranked teams qualify directly for the tournament, while 14 teams compete for 7 additional cards through a single-match elimination round.
It is expected that 4 more matches from the elimination round will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, after the end of which the contract of those qualifying for the tournament will be completed and all groups will be determined before the official start of the tournament on December 1.
