During the meeting, Ambassador Hossam Issa offered his sincere congratulations to the Minister on the occasion of the confidence of the political leadership and his assignment to the Ministry of Labor portfolio, appreciating this choice that reflects a conscious vision and practical experience, and praising the professional and diplomatic thought of the Minister during his period of work as a labor attaché in Riyadh, and the positive impact he left in supporting the image of the Egyptian worker abroad.
The meeting discussed a number of proposals aimed at opening new labor markets for Egyptian workers abroad, within the framework of a strategic vision based on enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian cadres, linking training to the needs of international markets, and expanding the scope of regional and international partnerships in the field of employment.
The two sides stressed that the next stage requires more efforts to confront any challenges that may face Egyptian workers abroad, in a way that achieves the interests of the Egyptian state, opens broader horizons for Egyptian youth, and enhances Egypt’s position as a major source of skilled and disciplined labor in regional and international markets.
