Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, followed the progress of the campaigns in the first phase of the 28th wave to remove encroachments, which were launched last Saturday, under the supervision of the Supreme Committee for the Recovery of State Lands, as part of the intensive campaigns implemented by the government to preserve the rights of the state and restore the rights of the people, and in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to continue efforts to confront illegal construction and all forms of encroachment.
Removal of 146 cases of encroachment on agricultural lands in Beni Suef within wave 28
This came during the governor’s discussion of the state property management report, which indicated that the total number of cases removed over the course of Saturday and Sunday amounted to 146 cases of encroachment, with 25 cases of encroachment on state property and 121 cases of encroachment on agricultural land, within the framework of full coordination between the executive and security agencies and the concerned state authorities, and according to a timetable prepared to ensure the implementation of removal decisions efficiently and quickly in the various centers of the governorate.
The governor indicated the continuation of daily field follow-up of the removal work, stressing that there will be no tolerance in the face of any encroachment attempts, while taking the necessary legal measures against violators, to ensure the preservation of agricultural land and state property.
It is noteworthy that the 28th wave of removing encroachments is being implemented in three successive phases over three months (January, February, March 2026), with the first phase lasting from January 10 to 30, followed by the second phase from February 7 to 27, and concluding with the third phase from March 7 to 27, 2026.
