Today, Friday, the joint preaching convoy between Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the Ministry of Endowments, and the Egyptian Fatwa House, launched to the mosques of North Sinai Governorate, under the patronage of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayyad, the Egyptian Mufti.

The convoy comes within the framework of joint cooperation and continuous coordination between major religious institutions, and within the efforts of the Ministry of Endowments to implement the axes of its advocacy plan aimed at confronting terrorism and extremism, combating all forms of intellectual extremism, and confronting non-religious extremism represented by the decline of values and morals, while working to restore and build the Egyptian national character on solid religious foundations. The convoy also aims to enhance the role of mosques in educating youth and all segments of society, and instilling the value of science, discovery, invention, creativity, and passion for knowledge. Which contributes to the creation of civilization.
The convoy includes seven scholars from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, ten scholars from the Ministry of Endowments, and three fatwa secretaries from the Egyptian Fatwa House, to present a group of seminars, lectures and advocacy lessons in the mosques of North Sinai Governorate, in addition to the Friday sermon in the mosques of Sheikh Zuwayd – Al-Joura – Rafah, so that they can all speak with one voice on the topic of reverence and honoring the elderly, within the Correct Your Concepts initiative.
