Google officially launched the latest member of the Pixel 10 series in several markets around the world, after it had unveiled the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold phones last August, with the foldable phone starting shipping in October.

Four months later, Google expands its leading lineup by introducing a new mid-range option called the Pixel 10a. Despite its modernity, the phone does not stray far from the Pixel 9a, as it returns a 6.3-inch Actua screen, a 5,100 mAh battery, in addition to the same Tensor G4 processor.

Also, no changes were recorded in terms of cameras, as the phone maintains a 13-megapixel front camera, a 13-megapixel wide lens, and a 48-megapixel main camera.

However, Google has made some notable improvements; The Pixel 10a was three grams lighter, reaching 183 grams. The company also adopted Corning Gorilla Glass 7i instead of Gorilla Glass 3 used in the previous generation. Brightness levels also increased by 11% to 2,000 nits in 100% APL mode and 3,000 nits in 5% APL mode.

On the software level, Google has added new photography features, including Camera Coach, Macro Focus, and Auto Best Take, which are features that were not available in the Pixel 9a.

The price of the Pixel 10a starts at $499, £499, and €549 for the 128GB version. The 256 GB version is offered at $599, £599, and €649.

Pre-booking offers vary depending on the market, as Google provides a trade-in bonus of $100, 100 pounds sterling, or 100 euros globally, while US customers get the Pixel Buds 2a headphones for free, while they are sold at a 50% discount in Europe. Shipping operations are scheduled to begin on March 5.
