Iranian President Massoud confirmed Bzshkian His country deals with other countries on the basis of mutual respect, stressing that the Iranian people do not accept the language of threats or the imposition of force.
In statements he made today, Sunday, Pezeshkian explained that the negotiations with the American side regarding the nuclear file represent a step forward, stressing that dialogue was and remains Iran’s strategic option to resolve disputes peacefully.
The Iranian President indicated that his country’s position on nuclear issues is based on the rights guaranteed within the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, pointing out Tehran’s adherence to its legal right in this field.
Dispelling international concerns about the rate of uranium enrichment
In the same context, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stressed that no party has the right to demand zero enrichment of uranium in Iran, stressing that Tehran insists on continuing enrichment as a sovereign right that no external party can impose restrictions on.
Araqchi added that targeting Iranian nuclear facilities did not achieve any results, stressing that the only option available to other parties is to return to the negotiating table. At the same time, he made clear that his country is ready to take steps that would dispel international concerns about the rate of uranium enrichment.
