The General Secretariat of the Council announced Islamic research At Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the result of a competition sending the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1447 AH = 2026 AD, for preachers, readers, and teachers of recitations.
The secretariat explained that the announcement of the results came after the completion of the examination and evaluation work, in accordance with the approved controls and standards, and in a way that ensures the achievement of the principle of transparency and equal opportunities among applicants.

The secretariat indicated that this competition comes within the framework of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif’s keenness to select qualified preachers who are scientifically and legally qualified, and who are able to represent Al-Azhar abroad and convey its moderate message and moderate approach, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan.
In another context, today, the Al-Azhar Pavilion concludes its participation in the Cairo International Book Fair, by displaying a giant artistic painting documenting the journey of His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and the intellectual, humanitarian and national stances he carried that extended over eight decades of giving, in the hands of an elite group of artists from the Al-Azhar Office to Support Innovation.
The painting tells the story of a journey full of work, advocacy, and leadership, presenting milestones in the Grand Imam’s speech and his initiatives, from calling for bloodshed and fighting revenge, and supporting community reconciliation efforts, to championing the Palestinian cause, defending right and identity, and consolidating the values of human peace through signing the Document on Human Fraternity and building bridges of coexistence between peoples and cultures.
