Al-Shuwaikh added that developing a clear and comprehensive industrial map of the various investment opportunities and their sectors contributes to directing the economic compass towards industries that have real competitive advantages, noting that the integrated industrial map is not limited to inventorying projects or determining their geographical locations, but also includes preparing accurate feasibility studies, evaluating the available infrastructure, analyzing supply chains, and measuring the volume of demand in the local and foreign markets.

The member of the House of Representatives explained that providing an accurate and transparent database for local and foreign investors would enhance confidence in the investment climate, reduce risks, and shorten the time needed to make the investment decision, pointing out that the current stage requires close integration between the ministries and relevant bodies, especially the ministries of industry, planning, and finance, to ensure the implementation of the industrial map according to a unified vision and specific time plans.

Representative Muhammad Al-Shuwaikh called for the involvement of the private sector in preparing this map as it is an essential partner in the development process, and is capable of identifying market needs and modern production requirements, stressing that the integrated industrial map contributes to creating broad job opportunities for young people and reducing unemployment rates, by directing investments towards manufacturing industries, small and medium industries, and projects with high added value, with the necessity of distributing industrial projects among various governorates to achieve balanced development and reduce economic disparities between regions.

Al-Shuwaikh pointed out that the success of this initiative requires a flexible and stimulating legislative environment, simplified administrative procedures, and a decisive fight against corruption, stressing the importance of the oversight and legislative role of Parliament in following up on the implementation of the industrial map and ensuring the achievement of its goals in a way that enhances the path of comprehensive development and supports the strength of the national economy.
