The competent investigation authorities decided to release the artist Fadi Khafaja on financial bail, pending the report submitted against him by the artist Maha Ahmed, in which she accuses him of incidents of insult, slander and defamation through social media sites.
The investigating authorities listened to Khafaja’s statements and confronted him with the content of the report and the clips and publications in question. The prosecution began examining the technical evidence and decided to complete investigations into the incident.
The prosecution also assigned the competent authorities to conduct the necessary investigations into the circumstances of the report, and to unpack the content circulating on social media platforms.
