Mohamed Kamel, President of Hadaeq Development Company, reassured Zoo and Orman Gardenson the health conditions of the Giza Zoo animals, saying that their health has improved greatly, and that there are many new births due to improved nutrition and health care, noting that the birth rate has increased by about 118 to 120% compared to before, as a result of improving the quality of food, explaining that a specialized foreign team is following up on the nutrition file.

He added, during a phone call to the photo program presented by media personality Lamis Al-Hadidi on Al-Nahar TV, that the only flaw in the development file is that work is underway inside the site in the presence of the animals themselves, which makes the responsibility greater and the challenges more difficult.
He explained that they care for the animals to a great extent, and there is currently no night shift so that the animals can sleep and take their sufficient time to rest.
He pointed out that letters of thanks continue due to the interest in the health conditions of animals, especially elderly animals.
Regarding the new animals, he said that there is widespread interest at the level of the Council of Ministers, and that about 24 local and international bodies are following up on the development processes, pointing to visits from UNESCO, the African Union, and the international community as well.
He also indicated that the name of the zoo will be changed to Animal Park.
Regarding the presence of a tunnel between Orman and Animals, he said: The original is that it is one area. There are no Orman and Animals. They are supposed to be one, but Al Nahda Street is something new, and the two parks will be connected by a tunnel so that visitors will be able to move between them through this tunnel as if it were one Disney.
