Engineer Tamer Jabr, Head of the Obour City Authority, conducted an extensive field tour inside the Obour Water Purification Plant in the Industrial Zone (B-C), to follow up on the executive position of the comprehensive development works and raise operating efficiency.

During the tour, the head of the agency followed the completion rates of the station’s development work, which included raising the efficiency of the facilities, implementing road paving and internal sidewalks, coordinating the general site, and planting surfaces and ponds, in order to achieve a safe and organized operating environment that keeps pace with the requirements of the station’s technical work.

He also reviewed the ongoing winter overhaul program, and discussed with operation and maintenance officials the implementation stages and completion plans, stressing the need to adhere to the approved timetables and ensure the station’s readiness to operate at its maximum capacity during the coming period.

Engineer Tamer Jabr inspected the operating and control systems, reviewed quality and occupational safety procedures, and reviewed daily operating records and books, stressing the importance of full compliance with technical and regulatory standards to ensure the stability of the production system and achieve the highest efficiency rates.

The head of the agency stressed that the development of the Obour water purification station represents a fundamental focus in supporting the city’s infrastructure, and contributes to improving water quality and meeting current and future needs, in addition to supporting neighboring cities and regions according to the highest operating standards.

At the conclusion of the tour, Engineer Tamer Jabr stressed the continuation of periodic field monitoring of all utility stations and networks, as it is one of the main pillars of ensuring the sustainability of services and achieving integrated development within Obour City.

During the tour, the head of the agency was accompanied by Eng. Mohamed Imad, the agency’s vice president for facilities, and a number of executive department officials and operation and maintenance officials.
