Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, followed the closing of the run-off committees for the House of Representatives elections on the first day, from within the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network at the governorate’s general office.

The Governor of Giza was assured of regular closing of the committees at the specified times, ensuring that the voting process was completed without obstacles, and that voters left in a safe and orderly manner, with full compliance with the established legal and regulatory procedures.
The Governor of Giza has assigned the heads of districts, centers, and cities to fully prepare for the second day of the runoff in order to ensure the regularity of the electoral process, prepare the headquarters and committees, follow up on all logistical procedures, and ensure the availability of the necessary supplies to ensure the smooth running of the electoral process.
The follow-up work was witnessed by: Mohamed Nour, General Secretary, Mr. Mohamed Marei, Assistant Secretary, Brigadier Sameh Samir, Assistant Military Advisor to the Governorate, Mr. Wael Shaaban, Head of the Central Administration for Governor’s Office Affairs, and Engineer Walid Abdel Latif, Assistant to the Governor, along with officials of the relevant agencies, bodies and departments.
Earlier, Engineer Adel Al-Najjar assigned the Governor of Giza to establish a fixed point for the utility police on Al-Arish Street in the Talbiya neighborhood to immediately deal with any violations or occupations that hinder the movement of vehicles, within the framework of the governorate’s plan to restore discipline to the street and prevent occupations permanently.
The Governor of Giza stressed on the head of the Talbiya district to periodically monitor the street situation and take the necessary measures for the movement of citizens.
This came during the Governor of Giza’s inspection of Al-Arish Street and reviewing the available alternatives to accommodate street vendors who were confined to the street. He stressed that these measures aim to achieve traffic fluidity, improve the level of services provided to citizens, and preserve the cultural appearance of the area.
