The Governor of Alexandria receives the President of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology
This came during a meeting with Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where he offered congratulations on the occasion of the Governor assuming his duties as Governor of Alexandria.
During the meeting; The Governor of Alexandria expressed his deep appreciation for this visit, praising the scientific and developmental role played by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
For his part, the President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport stressed the Academy’s keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation with the governorate in the areas of training, capacity building, and supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as participating in development projects that contribute to serving the Alexandrian community.
This comes within the framework of strengthening the bonds of cooperation and integration between the governorate and academic and scientific institutions, and activating their role in serving society and supporting development paths, in line with the state’s directions towards supporting institutions of higher education and scientific research and linking them to development needs.
