The beautiful girl asked the great poet after completing his poetry evening: How does poetry come with all this splendor?

He answered her with a smile as he wrote his dedication to his latest collection of poems: An unfulfilled wish changes with the tie on my neck, women like rose petals who have passed through the beginning of life, and are still…the shyness of a girl as she writes down the lines of a poem of mine to send to her lover…they are all dancing in front of my papers as I write, and perhaps they are the ones writing, so I listened carefully and smiled happily.

The writer Etemad Abdo has previously published two collections of poetry, the first titled Almonds and the Sea, translated into English by Dr. Muhammad Anani, while the second collection was titled On the Edges of Shame.
