She announced Ministry of Endowments The opening of 17 mosques today, Friday, December 12, where two new mosques were established and built, 10 mosques were replaced and renovated, and 5 mosques were maintained and developed.

The Ministry announced that the total number of mosques that have been opened since the first of July 2025 until now has reached 355 mosques, including 269 mosques between new construction, replacement and renovation, and 86 mosques for maintenance and development.

The Ministry confirmed that the total number of mosques that have been replaced, renovated, maintained and furnished since July 2014 amounted to 13,844 mosques, at a total cost estimated at approximately 24 billion and 329 million pounds.

The Endowments opened 17 mosques today

The list of mosques scheduled to be opened varied geographically, as follows:

In Ismailia Governorate: Sheikh Radwan Mosque, in Ezbet Al-Karba – Qantara West Center, was replaced and renovated. Al-Rahman Mosque, in Al-Malak Village 3 – Al-Tal Al-Kabir Center, and Ashab Al-Yaman Mosque, in Serapeum Village – Fayed Center, were maintained and developed.

In Sohag Governorate: Al-Mustafa Complex Mosque, in the village of Al-Gharizat – west of Maragha, was replaced and renovated. The Al-Bayt Mosque was established and built in Nag Abu Shafi’ in Al-Harja Bahri, in the village of Arraba Abydos – Al-Balina Center, and Al-Salam Mosque, in the Economic Housing Zone – New Sohag City.

In Menoufia Governorate: Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque, in the village of Mit Abu Al-Koum – Tala Center, was replaced and renovated.

In Minya Governorate: Al-Huda Mosque, in Ezbet Sheikh Abdel-Azim – Beni Mazar Center, was replaced and renovated. Al-Tawhid Mosque, in the village of Zawiyat Barmsha – Al-Adwa Center, and Al-Anwar Al-Muhammadiyah Mosque, in the village of Hor – Mallawi Center.

In Matrouh Governorate: Al-Tawbah Mosque – Salloum City was replaced and renovated. And the Abdullah bin Masoud Mosque, in the village of Tawarsa – the city of Sidi Barrani, and the Al-Zouida Mosque, in the village of Al-Zouida – the city of Sidi Barrani, was maintained and developed.

In Dakahlia Governorate: Al-Shatt Mosque, in Kafr El-Wakala village – Sherbin Center, was replaced and renovated.

In Giza Governorate: Al-Dawa Mosque was replaced and renovated, in Al-Aziziyah Village – Badrashin Center.

In the New Valley Governorate: The Obour Mosque was maintained and developed, in the city of Al-Kharga – Al-Mashari’ neighborhood.

In Qalyubia Governorate: Al-Safa Mosque, in Sanafir Village – Qalyoub Center, was maintained and developed.
