A criminal court ruled Shubra El Kheima In Qalyubia, Second District, a tuk-tuk driver was sentenced to 10 years in prison with aggravated imprisonment for 10 years and a fine of 100,000 pounds after he was convicted of trafficking in narcotic substances (heroin and hashish), and possessing a firearm, a cartridge, and a number of ammunition without a license, in the first district of Shubra Al-Kheima.

The ruling was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Ayman Afifi Salem, and the membership of Counselors Abdel Aziz Ali Mahmoud, Sherine Salah Hamdi, Mahmoud Abu Al-Yazid Jaballah, and the secretariat of Hani Khattab.
The Public Prosecution had referred the accused, Ahmed A. S. M. E., 36 years old, a tuk-tuk driver, residing in Al-Saada City, to criminal trial after he was caught on 4/4/2025 in possession of narcotic drugs for the purpose of trafficking, in addition to a firearm and 3 bullets without a license.
The referral order confirmed that the accused committed his crimes in circumstances other than those authorized by law, and the case was referred for trial in accordance with legal procedures.
