The Acting Professions Syndicate issued a statement, expressing its happiness with the spirit of understanding among its members.
The text of the statement read:
“The Syndicate of Acting Professions praises the high-minded stance recently embodied by a number of its artists.
Which reflects an honorable image of the Egyptian artist and his ability to manage any misunderstanding in the spirit of one family, and in a manner befitting the history of Egyptian art.
And its position in the Arab world.

The statement added: “The pride expressed by the great artist Ahmed Maher in his colleagues, and the subsequent generous stance of the representative artist Yasser Jalal, expressing himself and on behalf of his brother, the artist Ramez Jalal, confirms that passing differences do not spoil the friendship of an issue, and that mutual respect is the basis that unites the people of the profession.”
He continued: “The Syndicate confirms that the Egyptian artist was and will remain a role model in his behavior as he is a role model in his creativity, and that the value of art is inseparable from the value of morals, discipline and societal responsibility. While the Syndicate values this positive model, it renews its commitment to confront any attempt to undermine the dignity of the Egyptian artist or harm his image, and to always work to establish the principles of respect and solidarity among members of the profession.”
