The latest Counterpoint Research reports showed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series achieved higher sales than the Galaxy S24 series. The company compared phone sales during the period from February to December of the year each series was launched.
The Galaxy S25 sold about 5% more phones than the Galaxy S24 during this period, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra achieved 7% more sales than the S24 Ultra.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra also recorded monthly increases in sales mid-cycle, specifically in July and October, and ended the year among the top 10 best-selling phones of 2025.
The Ultra device remains the best-selling Samsung flagship phone, as S24 Ultra sales represented about 45% of the series’ total sales, while S25 Ultra sales represented about 46%.
As for the basic phones, the S25 accounted for about 35%, compared to 36% for the S24 series, while the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S25+ recorded 19% of the total sales of their series.
