The technical staff of the youth team born in 2007, led by technical director Wael Riad, continues to arrange its papers in preparation for the next stage, as the team is expected to participate in a series of camps at the National Teams Center in 6th of October City.
Cairo 24 learned that the agenda of the official engagements of the youth team born in 2007 has not yet been made clear, as Wael Riad and his assistant staff are waiting to be notified of the agenda of the North African Federation competitions.
Pending the clarification of the agenda of official engagements, the technical staff of the youth team born in 2007 decided to continue the series of camps for the team, which comes with the aim of continuing to monitor the players’ levels and hone their experiences.
The youth team born in 2007 is expected to compete in the North African region qualifiers, which in turn qualifies for the next edition of the African Youth Championship.
The Egyptian youth team, born in 2007, led by Wael Riad, concluded its open camp at the National Teams Center during the period from January 13 to 21, as part of the preparation program to participate in the continental qualifiers for the 2027 African Cup of Nations.
The youth team camp witnessed daily training, and included two friendly experiences, in the first of which it defeated the first team of Borussia Egypt 3-0, and in the second it defeated the first team of G Club 2-1.
During the camp, the Egyptian youth national team was assured of some new elements, to be part of the basic structure of the national team roster, before the start of the international trials phase.
