Representative Ismail Nasr al-Din, Member, spoke SenateDuring the plenary session held today, the Council spoke about the suffering of oncology patients, objecting to the statement of the Minister of Health.
Parliamentarian: Talk about free treatment is incorrect
This came during the plenary session of the Senate today, devoted to discussing requests for discussion regarding the file of oncology treatment and treatment at state expense
Representative Ismail Nasr El-Din said: My way every day as I head home from the council is the Nile Corniche at the Oncology Institute. I hope that the officials will go to this place and see this unusual crowding and the humiliation seen by the poor people who come from Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. We want our words on the ground to be sound. We want these people to be reassured that everything they say is reality and truth.
He added: I’m sorry to say, there are people who sold their home furniture so they can spend it on treating a cursed disease, and I saw a woman who came to my office the day before yesterday crying and telling me, ‘There is only this earring left so I can sell it to treat my husband.’
He continued: The saying that everything is done for free and unpaid is unrealistic and untrue, and this disease requires that we all stand by it and stand with the state.
