Residents of the village of Mansafis, affiliated with the Abu Qurqas Center in Minya Governorate, found a baby girl inside a bag dumped in front of Al-Hafi Mosque, under mysterious circumstances, hours after the incident of finding human fetuses.
The security services received a report from the people stating that a bag had been found in front of the mosque, with a living baby inside it, which sparked a state of sympathy and astonishment among the citizens, who quickly informed the competent authorities.
Police forces and an ambulance moved to the site of the report, where the infant was taken to the hospital to undergo a medical examination, confirm her health condition, and provide her with the necessary care.
The security services began taking legal measures and opening an investigation into the incident, while intensifying search and investigation efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident and determine the identity of who left the child in front of the mosque.
Sources confirmed that investigations are underway, surveillance cameras surrounding the place are being unloaded, and eyewitness statements are being heard, in an attempt to reach those responsible for the incident and take the necessary legal measures.

Earlier, the security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of what was circulated on social media sites, including the discovery of a number of fetuses in a bank in Minya.
Upon examination, it was found that on February 14 of this year, the Minya Police Station was informed that two mobile phones had been found inside one of the garbage bins in one of the villages in the center district, with 4 human fetuses and 5 placentas inside them. By conducting investigations, it was possible to identify the perpetrator of the incident – a worker residing in the same village – and by discussing with him he decided that his boss at work had given him the mobile phones and asked him to bury them based on the wish of the widow of the obstetrics and gynecology consultant who had given him the mobile phones.
