Last Monday, the new members of the House of Representatives took the constitutional oath, marking the start of their parliamentary work, during the opening session of the first session of the third legislative term, in the presence of the full formation of the Council.
The first plenary session of the House of Representatives in its first legislative term began, chaired by Representative Abla Al-Hawari, at the Council’s headquarters in the new capital.
Al-Hawari is assisted in managing the session by the two youngest members of the Council, namely Representative Samia Al-Hadidi, 25 years old, and Representative Saja Hindi, 25 years old, so that three female representatives lead the podium of the opening session in a parliamentary scene that reflects the increasing female presence within the legislative institution.
